Core competencies
The innovating technologies gathered by the term KartOO Technologies result from a significant research program started in 1998 by our R&D team.
Information mapping
This technique makes it possible to represent a list of objects (Web pages, database...)
in the form of a map, each connected by links (common words, database criteria). The result is a map on which the objects
that have the most common points are brought closer. Information is thus organized in two dimensions contrary to the classical lists, which impose a linear course.
The links between the objects either are represented in the form of lines (classical links)
, or in the form of peaks (topographic links, used when the links are very abundant to improve the legibility of the chart).
The objects either are laid out between the links (classical cartography), or organized in a circle (circular cartography).
Indexing and searching
KartOO controls its own technology of multi-platform indexing (Microsoft, Linux, multilingual Unix…), indexing the most current company information system formats (HTML, Word, Excel, powerpoint, pdf, xml, asp, php, txt…).
KartOO also proposes, in partnership with Antidot, a technology even more complete for the most complex information systems
Searching and meta-searching
Our technology makes it possible to carry out simultaneously information searches
in several sources (databases, Intranet, Web gateways, ged, software packages….).
It implements a single syntax, and incorporates and classifies the results (documents) according to a specific algorithm.
These technologies that are implemented in our software solutions for three years, have been controlled perfectly by our technical team to offer you powerful and reliable solutions.
Our research team works daily to optimize these technologies and develop other innovations.
